Week 4 day 1

Today I was going to work on investigation 1. However, it wasn't ready as the magnets weren't here. So, I decided to take the ohm's law quiz as well as work on some practice problems for today. The ohm's law quiz was pretty easy however, I had trouble finding the current in parallel circuits when voltage and ohm's were given. I found out that to do this you have to take all the ohm's values and put them over 1. For example if you have: 17, 11, and 6. You will do 1/17 + 1/11 + 1/6. You will then take the reciprocal of the answer and divide with the voltage to get the total amps in the circuit. I will now work on my circuit project first and complete that before i start magnetism.

  1. Great job keeping up with the blog, Moh. Try to make sure that each entry addresses all of the questions from the unit outline. It will make the journal a much more useful tool for both of us. Off to a great start. Keep it going!
